Terms and Conditions for AAG & Associates, Inc.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the relationship between
AAG & Associates, Inc.
("AAG", "we", "our", or "us"), a company specializing in home additions and high-end renovations, and the client ("you" or "the client") engaging in any project, consultation, or service provided by AAG & Associates, Inc. By engaging with AAG & Associates, Inc., you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.

2. Scope of Services
AAG & Associates, Inc. provides specialized services in home additions and high-end renovations. Our offerings include, but are not limited to:
Custom Home Additions, Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations, Whole-House Renovations, Exterior and Interior Remodeling, Design and Build Services
The specific scope of work for each project will be clearly defined in the formal project agreement or contract. Any additional services requested by the client that fall outside the initial scope may require a change order or amendment to the contract.
3. Service Agreement and Project Details
Each project with AAG & Associates, Inc. will be governed by a separate
Service Agreement
. This agreement will outline:
Project Scope: Detailed description of the work to be performed.Timeline: Estimated start and completion dates, including any milestones.Pricing: Breakdown of the cost for the project, payment schedule, and any applicable taxes. Design Approval: In cases where design plans are involved, client approval will be required before commencing work.
Both AAG & Associates, Inc. and the client must agree to and sign the Service Agreement before the commencement of any work.
4. Payment Terms
Initial Deposit: An initial deposit is required before work begins, which will be applied towards the total project cost. Progress Payments: The remaining balance will be invoiced at agreed-upon milestones during the project. Payment for these invoices must be made within of receipt final.
Payment: The final balance must be paid upon completion of the project and before the handover of the property or final sign-off by the client. Late Payments: Payments made after the due date may be subject to a late fee and further work may be delayed or suspended until payment is received. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via [credit card, bank transfer, check, etc.]. For specific payment methods, please refer to the Service Agreement.
All payments made to AAG & Associates, Inc. are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Client Responsibilities
Project Coordination: The client is responsible for coordinating any necessary permits, inspections, or approvals required by local authorities for the project unless otherwise specified in the Service Agreement.Access to Property: The client agrees to provide AAG & Associates, Inc. with full access to the property for the purpose of completing the work as described in the Service Agreement.Information Accuracy: The client must provide accurate and complete information necessary for the successful execution of the project. This includes details regarding property conditions, design preferences, and any other information that may affect the scope of work. Design Approval: Any design plans, drawings, or specifications must be reviewed and approved by the client before proceeding with construction.
6. Changes and Modifications
Change Orders: Any changes, modifications, or additions to the original scope of work will require a formal change order. The client must sign the change order before any additional work is performed. Change orders may result in additional costs or time extensions. Design Adjustments: If the client requests changes to the design during construction, these requests may affect the timeline and cost of the project. Any such changes must be agreed upon by both parties in writing.
7. Timeline and Delays
Project Timeline: AAG & Associates, Inc. will make every effort to complete the project within the agreed-upon timeline, but completion dates are estimates and are subject to change based on various factors, including but not limited to weather conditions, material availability, or delays in permitting or inspections.Client Delays: If there are delays caused by the client, such as late approvals, failure to provide necessary information, or delays in payments, the project timeline may be extended. Force Majeure: AAG & Associates, Inc. will not be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, labor strikes, or other acts of God.
8. Warranties
AAG & Associates, Inc. provides a limited warranty for labor and materials used in the completion of the project. The terms of the warranty will be outlined in the Service Agreement. Please note the following:
Material Warranties: Manufacturer warranties on materials or products installed will apply, and the client should contact the manufacturer directly for any warranty claims.Labor Warranty: Our labor warranty typically covers defects in workmanship for a period after project completion, subject to the terms outlined in the Service Agreement.
9. Liability and Indemnity
Liability Limitation: AAG & Associates, Inc. will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the project, including property damage, injury, or loss of income. Indemnity: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AAG & Associates, Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of the client’s use of the property during or after construction.
10. Insurance
AAG & Associates, Inc. maintains appropriate liability insurance coverage to protect against damages or injuries that may occur during the course of the project. It is recommended that the client verify their own insurance coverage to protect their property and personal interests during the renovation process.
11. Termination
By the Client: The client may terminate the Service Agreement by providing written notice to AAG & Associates, Inc. in accordance with the terms outlined in the Agreement. The client is responsible for paying for any work completed up until the date of terminations. By AAG & Associates, Inc.: AAG & Associates, Inc. may terminate the agreement if the client fails to comply with payment terms, fails to provide necessary approvals, or causes undue delays that impede progress. In such cases, the client will be responsible for paying for work completed up to the point of termination.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiation. If informal resolution fails, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in the State of New Jersey.
13. Privacy and Confidentiality
AAG & Associates, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of its clients. Any information provided by the client will be used solely for the purpose of completing the project and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
14. Amendments
AAG & Associates, Inc. reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the client, and the updated Terms and Conditions will be effective as of the date specified in the document.
